Sparks may be spent in payment to other members of the network for Products of Labor (PoL). Products of Labor are any goods or services that require the time (or sparks) of a member to produce and are used for the benefit of another member. Members put currency into circulation and PoL's take them out. Any member may create a PoL for exchange on the network at will. PoL may be services, physical, or intellectual property that can be defined in enough detail that the purchaser can ascertain its reception.
Products of labor generate their own wiki that illustrates the details of their creation and optionally an accounting of the their price. This wiki entry is used as a basis for other users to buy and sell similar products as well as locate users who have sold or extended the design of the original product. This also serves as a barometer of the market pricing of that PoL.
